Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website!  If you’re a current patient, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to fulfill your eye care needs.  If you’re a new visitor, we look forward to meeting you and exploring the various options available for correcting or enhancing your vision.

Why Choose Us?

Our Training/Medical Experience

Our M.D.’s have trained at the top medical schools and eye hospitals. We are comfortable with the diagnosis, management, and treatment of complex eye diseases and we will work with your medical doctors.

We diagnose and treat patients regularly with cataracts, macular degeneration, corneal foreign bodies, corneal ulcers, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and pediatric eye diseases.  Our doctors also regularly diagnose stroke, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, and drug-related eye diseases using the latest state of the art eye equipment.

Our physicians are on active staff at the top hospitals in the Bay Area including Mills-Peninsula, Sequoia, and Stanford hospitals.

Our Commitment

Does your doctor care about the health of your eyes or does he or she care more about the glasses you buy?  At Peninsula Eye Physicians and Surgeons, our doctors are dedicated to promoting your eye health.  In fact, we acknowledge that some of our patients don’t even need glasses.  Our patients come to get a thorough medical eye exam by an eye professional.

Our Continuity of Care

At Peninsula Eye Physicians and Surgeons, we have eye doctors who can take care of you from age 1 to 101 and beyond.  And don’t worry about us leaving.  Our group has been in practice since 1963.  With our surgical and medical expertise, we provide full service eye care including state of the art cataract surgery and laser eye surgery.  Our doctors respect that your eye is part of your general health.   We also have after hours on call emergency eye service for our patients.

We Accept Your Medical Insurance

If you have a medical eye problem, your medical insurance should cover an eye exam with a medical eye doctor.  It’s important to remember that most eye diseases are asymptomatic and start at the age of forty.   If you have noticed a problem in your vision or have a family history of eye disease, it’s important to have your eyes examined by a medical eye professional.  We also accept the VSP eye care plan for healthy eye exams.
