Dr. Drinnan has been practicing
in San Mateo for 15 years. He received his medical degree
from McGill University in Montreal. He then moved to
Stanford, CA where he completed his surgical residency.
In his final year, he was chosen to be chief resident.
Presently, Dr. Drinnan is a Clinical Associate Professor
of Ophthalmology at Stanford University Medical School,
where he teaches the surgery residents in their program.
Dr. Drinnan has a special interest
in cataract and refractive surgery. He performs all
the cataract surgery for the group including the
most modern small incision sutureless phacoemulsification
cataract surgery. He also is the group's expert in
laser vision correction including lasik, PRK for
myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.
