Dr. Sunju Park

Dr. Sunju Park, a board-certified ophthalmologist who comes to Peninsula Eye Physicians with additional fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus and ocular genetics.

 Dr. Park graduated from Amherst College with a degree in Chemistry and went on to receive her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of  Medicine in New York. While in medical school, she was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert  Einstein College of Medicine where she was elected to be chief resident during her senior year. Following residency, Dr. Park went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Adult Strabismus, and Ocular Genetics at Cole Eye Institute of Cleveland Clinic under the mentorship of Dr. Elias I. Traboulsi, M.D., M.Ed.

 Dr. Park is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has co-authored a chapter in the textbook Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Strabismus, as well as multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Park has a special interest in adult strabismus as well as pediatric and adult eye care. She is committed to providing the highest quality care to both her adult and pediatric patients.
