
Dr. Jennifer Lam, OD, FAAO (she/her), is a therapeutic and glaucoma-certified optometrist dedicated to offering compassionate care. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she attended University of California, Los Angeles for her undergraduate studies and returned home to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California Berkeley, School of Optometry.

During optometry school, Dr. Lam gained extensive clinical experience serving diverse communities across the Bay Area, completing externships at local community health centers, Byers Pediatrics, Livermore VA, UCSF Proctor Foundation, and more. These rotations prepared her to care for patients of all ages and visual needs.
She was also recognized for her academic excellence and community involvement, earning honors such as induction into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society and receiving the Bay Area Optometric Council Student of the Year award. She later completed a pediatric optometry residency at SUNY College of Optometry, receiving advanced training in myopia management, vision therapy, and comprehensive pediatric eye exams.

Following her residency, Dr. Lam earned the distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a recognition awarded to optometrists who demonstrate advanced clinical competence, a commitment to lifelong learning, and contributions to the profession through scholarship or service.

Outside of clinic, Dr. Lam enjoys exploring new local restaurants, spending time with her loved ones, and staying active. She looks forward to supporting the lifelong eye health of the community she proudly calls home.
